We are talking with one of the producers and innovators of the country, Mr. Iraj Banai, a member of the Chemical and Polymer Industry Union of Pardis, born in Tehran in 1961;
– Tell us about your work experience.
Since 1983, I have been involved in manufacturing plastic and packaging materials (vacuum framing), and before that, I had been engaged in electrical panels and related affairs. I also have a production unit called Form Plast Novin in Khoramdasht industrial zone and it is currently active in the production of plastic parts.
When was the start point of your innovation and innovation?
First, the design and manufacturing of the parts needed to work with the vacuum framing was done by ourselves. In addition, considering that conditions and the lack of modern machinery, the design and construction of the model and the mold was done by ourselves.
We also have had a history of cooperating with large industrial companies such as Beik, Parsi Lent and instant water cooler (Adamak), the construction of water-cooler plastic body, and Orchid’s dental floss in our manufacturing unit’s resume. We have gained a lot of good experiences, due to the downturn of production jobs, we have been working on designing new knowledge-based, industrial components for employment by taking into account the needs and challenges of today. An example of this is the registration and production of multi-layer insulating roof ceilings for a variety of evaporative coolers.
How did the idea of making this product come to your mind?
Due to water shortage and energy problems, to reduce its consumption, and to prevent the entrance of extreme heat and cooler losses, as well as to prevent extreme heat effecting the electric motor at the peak of the summer heat, this item is designed and constructed.
In the production of this item, it is tried to prevent problems such as heat and cold erosion for a long life. Given that it is installed under the metal roof of the cooler, it is not damaged by severe winds and storms.
– Please explain about the structure of this machine.
Prior to this, there had been some attempts to improve the efficiency of evaporative coolers which was not enough, but this piece is made of ABS hard polymer with an inner insulation layer in which due to the type of mold and its production process, have high capabilities and improve the efficiency of evaporative coolers and save water usage as well as energy in favor of the lack of available water and energy. And due to the installation of it under a metal roof, it would not detach with a severe storm or wind and would not cause financial and psychological damage. It is also immune to the erosion caused by heat and cold in different climate zones and it has more efficiency and lifetime.
– What do you expect from others for yourself?
Nowadays, with all the problems in production, when we passionately spend our energy and time on it, we have not much expectation but for the cooperation of the organs in order to facilitate the administrative and accounting work as well as financing. Given that, today we really need to create jobs and we especially ask for optimized energy consumption, for cooperation in solving problems from the relevant organs in support of national production and Iranian goods, as well as our dear countrymen, we are asking them to purchase a registered and valid item of goods and refuse to buy similar goods without registration and in this way whey would both support us and themselves if case of any losses.
